88 iroc-z tpi 305 5spd, The car starts fine cold, turns over for a second or less but drive it for a while and start it again i turns over for 5-8 seconds, and also idles a little rough bouncing from 850-1050 on the tach, but the tach is off by 200-250rpm to the high side. I just put new plugs, throttle position sensor, coil, and fuel pump in the car to try and fix its over half throttle falls on its face syndrome it was goin through, turns out, ripped fuel pump pick-up screen which = clogged fuel pump, oh well. I did however relocate and replace the factory fuel filter with a 10 micron Fram filter that is mounted to the shock tower tie bar right next to the shock tower. None of the fuel lines are running any closer to the exaust manifold than the factory ones. The new filter and lines are using #6an fittings and all the factory lines and hoses are converted to the same. (expensive) Any thoughts on what the problem might be?? i was thinking the car might be idleing a little low or maybe an IAC problem. I am not getting any codes, and the car runs like a raped ape, the little 305 really immpressed me.
