vette servo and .500 boost valve questions

vette servo and .500 boost valve questions

Ive never in my life done any work to my transmission or any transmission ever. im going to try and install this stuff myself just to learn how to do it...i was wondering if you guys could give me the general idea? Also..on my 87 Z28..where is the female connector to where the plug goes that controls tq converter lockup? which side?

the plug is on the driver's side just above the pan. near the back.

Your gonna need a good set of snap ring pliers to get the old valve out and the new one back in. The valve is in a groove about a 1/2 in deep.
