Hey guys,
Got a auto 86 TransAm. Noticed the gears where jerking when they change. Especially from first to second. Checked the fluid and was bit low. Mechanic reckons there is a transmission leak. So thought Id add some more transmission fluid till I get it properly fixed. Now the engine is really rough idling and sometimes turns off. Im guessing its definately something got to do with the tranny as it only just started rough idle/turning after after I added fluid.
I put some shell dexron3 fluid. It sais its interchangeable with the dexron2.
Any advice would be great.
