Upgrading to Roller Cam, what timing chain do I need plus cam button?
Hey guys, I have a new style 1 pc. RMS 350 Chevy that is currently running a flat tappet cam. I am upgrading to solid roller and am wondering do I need to use the stock cam button (or cam bracket, whatever that thing with two bolts up front is called that is used to hold a roller in place) and what timing chain do I need to buy? I have a true double roller chain for my flat tappet cam, but I take it that will not work. Thanks guys.

Well, I have an '89 350 hydraulic roller motor. It came with the car
Anyway, I used the true double roller timing chain and the factory plate that bolts over the cam on the front of the motor. (The one held in by 2 small screws/bolts.) Thats my experience, though I was not working with a solid roller, so I can't tell you for certain if there is anything extra you need.
