Angry Turn Signals/Emergency Flashers

Well I finally got around to checking the fuses in my car to see why my turn signals and emergency lights were not working, all the fuses are fine. Ran out of ideas what the problem could be, I was told to check the flasher unit in the convienence area however I looked and could not find it. Anybody else think this is the problem? If not what should I do?

you could not find the flasher?

it has to be there........i hope.

as far as the turn signals they are fused so check again...otherwise check by the bulbs themselves to make sure all connections are good.

i haven't had flashers since i bought the car; can't figure out what the problem is.

as far as the signals. when i bought my car the fuses were blown and once i replaced them everything worked except the flashers. turned out one of the sockets was bad on the drivers side so i had to go to the junkyard and splice in the new one. worked great ever since.

sounds fused related then at least for the turn signals.....the turn signals also have a larger flasher type fuse i believe.

there should be two. one for the flashers and one for the hazards. you do know what they look like right? little chrome like dome cylinders with a harness coming out of it.

some times they can be tucked up under the steering column; have you removed the pannel directly adjacent to the column to look?
