Sounds like a diesel

I know the sound is not in the bottom end of the engine. It's comming from the passanger side head area. I was wondering if I have a lifter going bad or maby it's time for a set of crane 1.5 RR's. I'm almost tempted to toss the distributor and throw a set of glow plugs in the engine.

The idler pulley on mine went bad and it sounded like a diesel truck too. They go bad some times, might be worth checking out.

Um, isn't the idler pully on a serpintene setup? If so, than I don't have a idler pully. If I do than I must be stupid or something because I wouldn't be able to point one out on my own car. Now thats sad. Thanks man.
