are turbo mufflers any good? I want something loud, but my dad won't let me put straight pipes on, I want something inexpensive, but loud, and sound pretty good too, any suggestions?

 

They are kinda loud, they don't flow that well, the don't sound that good....but they are cheap!

Buy a bolt on flowmaster muffler and just replace the stock muffler, cheap and it will give you the sound you are looking for.

well i finally found what i was looking for. flowmaster 40 series with a 3 inch in, and dual 3 inch out. this is what i wanted, but I didn't want to buy 2 seperate mufflers. From what I hear 40 series are the loudest, am i right on this? Will this give me a pretty loud, low exhaust system?

 

40 Series yeah is the loudest. I run a 40 series single in/out, none of that crossflow bullcrud.

I hate flowmaster mufflers. He was asking for "sound for cheap" and they flow better then stock. So, I suggested an easy cure.

I like all of the above choices you mentioned (except the super turbo, but the dynomax is one of the better turbos). Any one of them is a fine choice as well. It seems that those looking for "sound" are usually looking for the "flowmaster sound". But not always.
