If you have everything I don't see why not. Sounds like you have a 305 motor?

Yeah, but will the engine computer need to be modified(remap on dyno?) or
Can this unit be chipped(high performance chip?)and will the injectors need to be replaced with a product from JEGS or whom ever makes those aftermarket injectors,I cant remember,my catalogs are at work.
Anyway Im kinda looking for a quick education in TPI as this is somewhat new
to me,I.E. Im spending too much time trying to gain knowledge which is why
I love to get with you guys to cut right thru the B.S.

As long as all the parts are good, you are good to go.
you may want to head over to www.thirdgen.org and search in the TPI section to learn more about TPI and doing the swap.

I did a couple of swaps about 5 years ago, one on my 86 Trans Am and one on a camaro with my setup when I went with an LT4/T56 setup.

Not so fast. That intake will not bolt up to the cylinder heads you plan on using. 85 and 86 TPI intakes used the standard SBC intake angle, as the engines up until 87 used that angle. 87 and later with the centerbolt valve cover heads used a different intake bolt angle on the center intake bolts. You will need to modify your TPI lower intake, machine the heads, or use a later TPI lower intake.
