transmission leak while car is sitting 3 weeks

transmission leak while car is sitting 3 weeks
Have a 91 RS auto with 186k. I rarely drive this car. Nothing wrong with it. The car has been sitting about 3 and a half weeks. Noticed a pool of fluid underneath. It never leaked before.
Is this common with a car that sit a long time? Coworker has 78 Vette that does the same thing if it sits a long while without starting it up.

1991 Camaro RS (No Mods, but does at least have a flowmaster with dual 3 1/2 inch crome tips)
(Former 98 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 Ram Air owner-I miss that car sooo much)
