Trans-Go shift kit, StageII anyone?

I've heard from various people that this was the one to go w/ but, I want some hardcore evidence that this will improve my E/T. What kind of improvement would I get? Is there a better shift kit? Is a shift kit really worth it?

i have a B&M trans pack in mine. its pretty decent i guess, but the 2-3 shift could be a little better (the shift into OD is harder than the 2-3). im not sure how good the trans-go is,so i cant comment on that. but the shift kit will help the auto tranny alot. as far as E/T numbers go,i would say maybe a tenth or two...prob. depends on how bad it shifts now.

hope this helps

a shift kit is the best thing you can do to a 700r4. these trannies are weak in stock form. the main things you want to do are as follows: increase the line pressure (allows the clutches to proved more holding force), change the 1-2 servo to a corvette or aftermarket billet servo (gives you a hard 1-2), and increase the size of the boost valves (increases the applied pressure during shifts). these are the main thing to look for along with some other little goodies that help part throttle problems.

i've never personally used a transgo shiftkit, but from what i've seen, it appears to be a good kit in that it includes everything i've mentioned. be careful of the B&M kits. one of the kits they sell only includes a separator plate, and that had close to zero benifits.
