Times after mods.

Right now, I have whats in my sig, but the catback is the stock pipe, with a muffler I got for free on it. I believe it is a "vortex cherry bomb" or something. I just got a 3" flowmaster catback off someone, and wanted to know if that would be able to get me a tenth so I could hit 15's with just exhaust. Then im going to do 3.73 posi, see how much I can get off, Then my hood and an open air cleaner. I'm going to have all those on before I get into heads cam intake carb, and wanted to play around with it like that for a while

YOU NEVER KNOW UNTIL YOU TRY.

For all your car cares, that added power could overpower the tires and make it slower overall.

Honestly...Goodluck when you get it to a track, even if it doesn't reach the intended goal, it's still a blast.

The track is my favorite place I've been to yet. There are three 1/4 mile tracks within an hour of me. I didn't realize how much I enjoyed it until they closed for the year, and I had only made 11 runs, but I won 7

I will be at a track at least once a week this spring summer fall

yea man,the track is definately a great place to go...unless u dont have a car to race and then its gay to sit there and watch a bunch of slow street cars...w/ the occasional LT1 Camaro w/ CAI and exhaust beating a 99-00 GT w/ exhaust. other than that,i hate sitting there knowing i dont have a car to race lol.

There aren't really that many slow cars at these tracks, I just somehow lined up against the slowest cars. They cars running slicks, I saw a few 6's out of them last year, usually around 8-9's. The "street" cars, are usually from 11- low 13's, then some ricers, some trucks, and me.

You honestly might not gain that much with the gear swap until you change at least the cam. Heads and cam afterward will give you the greatest gains.
