TB Bypass
Just curious as to how you guys went about bypassing your TB. I know how to do it, for the most part, but I'm sure there are some that got creative about it. The only real question I have is about the open holes ur left with in the TB. Do you plug them with something as to not cause some sort of vacuum leak or to prevent it from sucking in debris from the engine compartment, or do you just leave it be?
I've done that with LT1 and L32 Throttle boddies. Just put a platic/rubber cap on it. They're dirt cheap from any hardware store. I think I used 3/8" yellow ones on both.
There is no vacuum, since the TB was just a passage for coolant. (One in one out). We are just bypassing it.

Nothing creative. Just get a 5/8 heater hose with a 90 degree bend and hook it from the outlet in the manifold to the heater valve. The other holes you bypassed can be covered up if you wish.
If ever you suspect a leak, spray brake cleaner into one of the holes and if it goes up, change the gasket.
