Question Tachometer Help 1988 FireBird.

My 1988 FireBird had a 2.8 V6 in it and I'm putting a 350 V8 in it.
what will I have to do to make the tach to read right?
Thanks,

I believe the easiest, would be to buy a used V8 instrument panel off E-Bay.

Probably not a way because there is no selection for 8 cyl on the stock tach.

Just make sure you get a tach that has about the same redline as your engine.

As you probably already know Camaro engines varied a little depending on TPI, TBI or whether it was auto or 5 speed.
