Question 69 Z-28 instruments

Does anyone know if all Z-28s where delivered with tachometer and the fuelgauge in the center dash (above the steering column).

I haven't found any information if the option of tachometer automatically placed the fuelgauge above the steering. There is also an option where you could get the clock in the same position. Since the Z-28 had the tachometer as part of the package, where did they put the fuel gauge?

Could the fuelgauge be cancelled out, you could cope since the warning light would tel you when to fill up.

Thanks

A tachometer was not standard equipment on the 69 Z28. It was an option and if you ordered the tach, but didn't get the console with gauges(U17) then you got the tach with the center fuel gauge. If you ordered the gauge package the fuel gauge would be in the console and the clock which was an option would go in the center above the steering column. My car has the clock, gauges and tach.
