T/A motor swap
my sister has an 86 t/a with the high output 5 liter. the car has 131k on it , the body/int are nice but the motor is just about dead. does anyone know if a 350 out of an 86 c-10 will swap into place of the 305 with no major problems? - thanks

my friend dropped a 350 out of an 87 pick up into his 92 rs and it fit just fine......well i should say the block fit, most of the engine was done over with performance parts but, my guess is as long as its a four-bolt main its good.....but what do i know

Yes it will fit in the bay, but seeing as how it appears to be a truck motor, the power gains would be less than what you desired in my opinion.
Lets put it this way, those HO motors put out some power especially when you put a full exhaust system on it from New headers back. The truck motors had very little power really...Unless you plan to crack open the motor and start replacing parts with high performance stuff, I'd say you'd be better off leaving the HO motor in there.
However, if you do plan to open the motor, I would recommend looking into a new Intake systen and heads/cam package. That would get you some ponies
