Switching to carb, Help!!

I have a 88 sport coupe camaro with a 305, I am dropping a carbed 355 in the car what will i need to do this? If i'm not mistaking the fuel pump is inside the gas tank. Any help will be appricated. Thanks.

i'm lookin at doing the same thing, from what i understand motor and trans mounts are a good idea. and are you running with the same trans, cause you might need a new kick down plate

I'm not sure about the cable, I think you'll need a new one. You can, I repeat, CAN USE the efi fuel pump in the tank. Get a good fuel pressure regulator with a return port for the excess fuel pressure to go back to the tank and you'll be set. Both fuel lines are in the engine bay already, just use a block off plate on the block where the mechanical fuel pump would go. The efi pump works much better than a mechanical pump imo. You only use 5-10 psi and when you really stomp it you'll have all that extra pressure waiting .
