Subframe connector questions

I'm gonna grab a pair of bf drag radials, but I know that I'll need subframe connectors to keep the car straight. What are some reasonable brands?? Any links to pics of installed sfc would be appreciated. I really wanna grab a 1.79 60 ft, but well see.

SFC are great but you can run DR without them just plan a set to keep the car tight... I used Mac. no problems with them little tight on the Ypipe 3" had to move it down to clear.. I also see you have a 6 speed my mac's were in the way of my cross member when I put in the sophn setup ..I will send you a pic of it..

I used Alston's and am quite happy with them. They were the bolt in kind. They fitted quite well and are weldable which I did have done.

I've got the Kenny Brown SFC. They look great and they went in with no modifcations having to be made. They are weld in which I hear is the way you should go. They took about an hour to install.

I used South Side Machine(SSM, found in Jegs possibly) in both a convertible 89 IROC and a 85 T-Top car. Cost is around $140-150. Fits great, paint them yourself, welds up nice. A large Y-pipe will get VERY close to them, I used a BFH on my SLP Y-pipe to get it to clear. No major reshaping, just a little dent. Goodluck!

Question SUBFRAMES

Should subframe connectors be the first or the last MOD or does it matter???

They should be the first mod you do. Almost everyone will say that.

Ya with most of the SFC out there you can do all sorts of underbody work without the SFC getting in the way.

I'm planning on making my own... They aren't all that difficult to make and it is cheap... I dunno anyone else made some out of box iron and angle iron???? I was planning on having them stick about a quarter inch below my ground effects since wintertime here in canada hides curbs and all sorts of ground effect destroying objects
