still low RPM problem...

Well i posted a while back about having a problem with low rpm's like backing up and slow start offs...it wants to hesitate then stall sometimes....its a 90' IROC 5.7L TPI......you guys gave me some things to do and i did some of them...i put in new plugs...some fuel injector cleaner...and just cleaned the throttle body as good as i could...it was dirty too i thought for sure it would fix it but it sill does it...i think it runs better at higher rpms though haha....so a few people have suggested a fuel filter maybe?? i am not even sure where it is on the car so if you guys could give me some more suggestions to this problem that would be great! oh and where is the fuel filter on this unit???

thanks Lance

Have you checked your TPS voltage? Checked your Idle Speed? Set the Timing? Checked out all vacuum lines? Do you hear any whistling when it starts? Does the "SES" light come on? Definately change the fuel filter. Do the easy (cheap) stuff first. Also you might want to invest in a Haynes Manual. Eventually you will find the problem.

Hope this helps,

Demo

P.S. Fuel filter is on the drivers side towards the rear of the car but still in front of the rearend....you cant miss it....
