StealthRam Intake and Air Foil

I was wondering how many people are using the StealthRam Intake from Holley? Was wondering if it was worth the $500 for the new fuel rails and intake. Also I saw an Air Foil for $50 on thunderracing.com and was wondering if anyone uses it?

Basically I wanna get as much info as I can before I make the purchase.

Thanks guys

If you were going that far and depending on what TB you use, I am not sure that the Airfoil will be that benificial.

I don't believe that the 54hp gain is a peak gain. I beleive it is at 5,500rpm compared to what the TPI system makes at 5,500rpm. Stealthram.com is going really slow and I can't get it to load the dyno page right now to check up on it.

So, I'll check up and update the post when the site comes back online.

That is possible because the TPI system dies off after 4500 rpm. However, if you hook it to a good cam and head combo, there is no telling where you can go. Supposedly it can give up to 550HP.

Almost every HSR build up I've read about has had a max TQ at ~4,500rpm and max HP at ~6,500rpm when cam and heads were chosen to fit the HSR intake.

On a stock TPI it moves the power up about 500rpm to 750rpm. Losing on average about 30lb/ft torque but with a much flatter TQ curve over a TPI setup.

The HSR setup is really worth it, and I will be moving to it eventually, but I don't feel like trying to fit the HSR under my stock hood right now, it won't fit a firebird.

These would be cams with somethin like 230 or 240 duration @ .050" Fairly big for a 350sbc considering you'll need a higher stall and gears to run the combo. I can't remember the exact cam grind. But the heads have usually been AFR's or something of similar performance.
