Starting problems now
Ok so I changed the fuel filter like 2 days ago and drove home (was at a friends house).
Yesterday I try and start it up - wouldnt turn over. Dash lights, inside, headlights, etc all worked. Just no turn.
Today (15 mins ago) I go out and check on it. No power whatsoever (a totally drained battery). So I break out the powerpack booster thing Im SO happy I bought like 3 months ago (originally for my truck). Got it started and drove it to oriellys. They tested the battery... said it was good, just low (brand new). Tested the alternator and it showed charging at like 12 volts.
Is the alternator only charging at 12 volts because it is having to completely recharge the battery? Or does it sound like that the alternator already has been going out and just now came to the point to where there wasnt enough left to start.
BTW, I drove into Oreillys and shut it off. When I went to start it up for testing (and when I was leaving), I turned the key all the way, and it wouldnt turn over. Acted like the battery was dead. So, I turned back, and then turned the key again, and it started up just fine. WTF. Now it sounds like ignition problems.
Thanks for any help.

Charge it up and put it in another car and drive it around to make sure it can get it up and keep it up. The charge, that is. If not, you have a problem there. If so, your problem lies in the alternator or wiring. You may have a bad set of wires to the battery.
