strange hose unplugged

behind my driver side headlights theres a canister, next to that i think is the cruise control, coming from the cruise control theres a hose that splits like a T then dissapears into a harness...
the bottom of the T is not connected to anything, its a good 15 - 20 inches long and not a very thick hose.

what is it and where does it go?

2.8 v6 mpfi cruise a/c power everything

Look around the throttle body for an open fitting, like a slip on type deal, where the vacuum line, at least thats what it sounds like would go. Thats a charcoal canister and its used for emissions purposes..... I have never owned a 2.8 so I am going off of what I know from my iroc and Z. Hope it all gets worked out, im sure its right under your nose.

I think i know what that is. Its the hose that should go down in the fender to a plastic piece that is just a vent hose of some type for the cruise, but it does connect to a vent hole underneath or around the front left tire area, hope this helps

I would say that if it is suppose to be connected, then connect it, that is my advice.

It sounds like the vacuum line going to the vacuum reservoir. If you can see where to plug it back in, do it.
