Speedo question

Did 1986 IROCs come with 85 mph speedos?

don't think so But I have a 145 mph one with like 50K miles on it, if you need one

i can an 86 iroc with a 145 speedo..my budyd has an 89 iroc with a 115...

To answer the original question, yes. The 145-mph speedo was released by GM for late model year 1986 Z28s (with and without the IROC-Z option) but only with the 305 TPI. So most 1986 Z28s did not get the 145-mph speedo, but the 85-mph unit.

I've always understood that it was based on the suspension and wheel/tire combo that came on the vehicle "factory".
Z rated wheel/tire combo got the 145 speedo, no limiter.

This IROC was originally a TPI car.
