speedo question

I think I might have screwed myself. I have an 86 TA and recently I had a stroker motor and a 3 speed tranny put in it. We removed all the original wireing and now i realize my speedo doesn't work. I'm sure it has been asked before, but my speedo is electric not cable driven isn't it? If so is there any way to find make my speedometer work with the 350 turbo? or just any way to find the right wire?

Painless wiring makes a sending unit that will work for you, but you'll need the "rest of the wiring and computer parts" to make it work.
