Hello, I was wondering about how much it would cost to switch from a manual to an auto trans in my 86 camaro.

Also, is it even possible to fix up my car to the point of actually being faster then the later 3rd gens and early 4th gens?

oh yea, and where is a good place to buy louvers for my car (I hope I spelled that right) I know that with louvers on my car, it fits the 'mullet mobile' description, but theres so many damned camaros up here, and they all look the same, their all 91 or 92 camaro irocs. I want mine to look differant.

And why is it so hard to find 91 and 92 firebirds, I like those cars, but they are sooooo freaking hard to find, was noone interested in them back in the day?


I'm asking all of this because I am getting some money soon, and I have a choice of fixing up my camaro or buying another camaro/firebird.
Then shortly after that I'm joining the airforce, so I need something thats really nice to fix, something with tpi and an auto trans, simply cause I'm sick of my carb being a.... well a carb, and I hate knowing that one day my girlfriend is going to want to learn manual in my car.... parts are expensive....
