Seems liek theres nothing better than tranny problems

Yeah so ive been having many tranny problems

I thought maybe my clutch was not full disengaging but now im pretty sure it is...

The tranny just doesnt want to shift anymore

and when cruising at higher speed like 90 in 5th gear when i try to take it out of 5th it feels like it almost pulls the gear with the shifter...i dunno if that makes any sense

every gear is grinding...

i am buying a t56 in about a week, but i still would like the t5 to last me until then and plus the time it will take me to get around to putting it in...any help is appreciated...

Where can i add gear oil incase it doesnt have any?
i couldnt find a fill spot..

You have all the symptoms of a dragging clutch. Hard to shift....grinds in every gear.....sticks in gear......I'd be willing to bet it shifts just fine when the engine isn't running, and it's damn near impossible to get into reverse. Make sure your hydros are in one piece and bleed them 2 or 3 times.

There's a check/fill plug on the side of the tranny.

Just in case you don't know, T5's don't take gear oil. Thay take ATF.

My T5 had the same symptoms when my clutch went out. One of the springs in the clutch disc broke. Soemtimes at stops I would have to turn my car off and put it into first then start it up and go.

the hydros are seriously good, i spent 180 dollars buying fresh new ones from chevy, but yeah, without a doubt it is clutch drag...why do t5's take automatic tranny fluid, that just seems odd...but i will add some, just incase...

but yeah, this is all just a temporary problem until the good ol 6 speed..

I don't know why they take ATF. The T56 is the same way.
