Scat vs. Eagle

hello,

i am currently replacing the rotating assembly in my 383 stroker motor and am having trouble deciding on which parts to use as replacement. 1/2 the people i talk to recommend Eagle over Scat, the other half recommend Scat over Eagle. ill be going with a 4340 forged crank and some forged 6" rods. pistons will probably be SRP or JE.

im getting the engine internally balanced anyway, so im not sure if the difference will be negligible or not....but id still rather have what most performance enthusiasts would consider the superior product.

so Scat or Eagle...or something else??

please help me out guys. thanks.

Ah very good young grasshoppa, that is a most excelent thread discussing these pieces.

If this needs to be further discussed that thread would be ideal to use, or continue in this thread but in a gen spacific forum. Moving. Thanks.

Botha re made over seas and are inferior to US made products. I would buy a Callies DragonSlayer if budget is an issue.
