Where can I find it in my '87 Iroc and where can I go to decode it? The one located in the glove box has black velcro tape over most of it which renders it useless.

Well you can soak the tape in some alcohal or just heat it up with a hair dryer and try to remove it very carfully.

There is a link to a large list of GM RPO codes. Im sure youll find what you need there. Good luck with removing the tape. Just take is slow, those stickers are pretty tough but you dont want to take the letters and numbers off.
