Question RPO Codes

where can i find the list of RPO codes on my 1991 RS??

If they are still there, try the bottom of the console lid or the door for rear hatch compartment. If not in these locations the previous owner removed them. Also if you have them and just want to decode them try www.thirdgen.org .

Go to the local Chevy dealer and they will be able to print you a list of the codes that your car came equipped with

At one time that was possible, now GM is purging there system of everything 10 yrs or older.

Does this apply to Pontiac too?
I went to my local dealer and they had never heard of such a thing. I would really like to get my codes.

If I had somewhere to host the picture Id show you what it looks like. At least what my buddy gave me which matches the ones in the car exactly. Thats weird that the other dealers dont show that cause on there systems they enter the VIN# and when looking for parts it highlights only the parts that fit that particular car according to the codes. Maybe us Canadians are just lucky...ehhhh!

I think what you are talking about was a export requirement and no longer avaiable in the US.
