Replacing steering column, questions...
Hey guys, time has come to change my messed up column out. I know there are two bolts holding it up from the bottom, but what else is involved in taking the whole thing out, and what should I look for in a doner column (wiring, etc)?
Also, can I get my stock key to work with the other column?
Thanks guys!

You can change the key cylinders and make your old key work, but it's a lot of trouble and not worth the effort IMHO. Changing the column itself isn't that bad....a couple of support bolts and I think 4 firewall bolts, wiring of course, and the steering knuckle in the engine bay are all that hold it in.
As long as your donor has the same connectors for the ignition switch and turn signal/cruise harness, you should be fine.
