Question Replacement carpet ? Year One vs ACC ?

I'm getting ready to replace the carpet in my 90 RS and am curious about the fit of ACC's carpets and/or the carpet Year One sells. I'm not into making a lot of custom cuts or using a gallon of glue....

Anyone have some experience they could share ?

Thanks!!

I thought Year one sold ACC carpet, at a profit. I'd just get ACC, just make sure you lay it out in the sun to get it pliable before you install it, becuase I DIDNT do that, and I have some bubbled up sections of carpet. It probably has nothing to do with the ACC carpet I got, and moreso with my shotty install job

Scott,

Thanks for the reply. Year One's carpet does appear to be ACC, with a little markup.

Did your carpet have a rubber backing on it that made it more pliable after sitting in the sun or was it just the carpet itself.

Thanks!

Hey guys, sorry to intrude, but I wanna know if anyone has an opinion on the carpet from Classic Industries. I need the carpet for my 86 Z and the color is light saddle, but I can only find it with a few companys. Anyway, just want some thoughts! Thanks!

I am also needing carpet, where is the best/cheapest place to get carpet? I have a roll cage installed and I'm not liking the idea of spending 300 dollars on new carpet and then cutting it. Finding a used carpet in good shape is almost impossible. Seen carpet in JC whitney, ebay, yearone, classic industries. Ebay looks the cheapest so far with a whole set of carpet for around $250.00
