Post rear-end

will a 4th gen. rear end work in a 3rd gen.?

Yes it will bolt right in with no modifcations use 92 1st dezine brake cabeles and do a search to find all the info you want about what wheels there are 1"1/2 longer on each side ....I have a moser 12 bolt in 4th gen length

if you bolt it right in, it will make the wheels stick out a couple of inches or you can have the housings made to accept it the rearend
