rear defroster

rear defroster

Rear window defroster turns on by itsself. Connections seem tight and switch was replaced. Anyone have an idea what's wrong?

I know the 86 cars with the large outer CHMSL had problems with the rear defrost switch coming on when you hit the brakes. GM even put out a service message on it. Check the leads to the rear defroster grid.

Thanks. Does anyone know the details of the service bulletin or where I could get a copy? All the connections seem secure.
