I think my rear Drumw brake might have coaght on fire or created a lot of smoke. I did two about 110mph to 30mph hard brakes in about 30 sec. The second braking I lost about half my braking capablity and the smoke filled the car with that nice brake smell. I inspeced the rear brake and one shoe was cracked and the and another had a lot of little hairline cracks. They where the best shoes the store had.
Does this sound like a brake problem or do I need better Brake shoes? Driving a liitle slower is not an option. Any sugestions?
