Radio wont pick up signal...
OK so I have the radio installed properly and everything. On my car, there is no antenna...looking under the hood, you can see that the front quarters are replacement, and I know that replacement quarters weren't drilled for the antenna. Where do I start looking, and how can I improve my radio reception without drilling into the body? I gotta listen to the Red Sox when I'm on the road, it's killing me when I hear "Pedro delivers..." and it cuts out. Thanks!
There used to be a invisible antenna that you could put in the car,it was a transparent tape that you stuck on the inside of the windsheild, they didn't work all that well for distance, but for local were fine. Try JC Whitney they might still carry them.
Is it possible that they just hacked out my antenna and all the wires when they replaced the panel? I'd like to try to hook something up that doesn't sound quite as bootleg as a tape-antenna on my windshield...but if I have to, you can bet I will.
What Dave said. Just find one at a junkyard and hook up the wiring, and lay it across the dash under the dashpad. If you lay it the right way you can clear the defrost vents and the speakers and such. It'll pick up just fine.

All third gen cars had the antenna mounted on the top of the front passenger side fender (No exceptions if a radio came with the car). And if you don't have one, my guess it is disconnected after the fender replacement. So no wonder you have such poor reception.
