Pulled 700R4... Now air/fuel guage doesn't work???
I just pulled my 700R4 out and prepping for the T56. Then I went to go start the car, it started fine but the idle boggs out and then picks up. Also, my Air/Fuel ratio gauge isn't working anymore.
Question is... Does the wire clip that plugs into the 700R4 some how interfere with the O2 signal?
The idle situation I believe would be solved with a custom chip deleting the auto tranny settings but what about the O2?
Thanks!!

Did you pull the exhaust down when you dropped the tranny? Because if the Y-pipe isn't bolted up to the manifolds then the O2 is gonna be getting pulses of clean air and that will screw the readings up pretty badly.
I didn't even touch the exhasut!! The only thing I did was take off the rubber hanger thing off the cat!
I don't see how that would do anything.
I'm not even sure I'm getting power to the O2 anymore. The guage does absolutly nothing?

Ken. Where did you run the power wire to? These gauges are supposed to be run through a fuse. I ran mine into the the wire the has the fuse for the cluster so if the fuse blows everything shuts down. Just a thought.... are you getting power to the gauge?

Thats a good point. I haven't even checked the fuses.
I hooked up a scan tool to the car and I wasn't getting an O2 reading so I just assumed the guage wasn't even getting a signal.
I'll check my fuses tomorrow. Who knows.... it could be just that easy!!
