If you get the AFPR you will still need a pressure gage. How would you know what the pressure you are adjusting to is?

 

lol everytime i start my car and it sounds like it's going to give me problems, i turn it off and take off the gas cap and i let it vent... when the hissing stops (it always hisses when i do that when my car doesnt start up right), i put the cap back on and it works fine without any problems. i guess i figured how to fix it, but im still curious... why is it happening? maybe cuz im riding around on empty all the time lol

 

Hmmm evaporative system problem? (Like mine used to have).

 

I had the exact same problems. This problem could have many answers, but w/ my car, I had taken my air intake off and when I put it back on, I had forgoten to plug the MAF back in. Check it. That could cause those problems.

Also, I would check that fuel pump. Even if it is brand new, it could still be bad. When troubleshooting, always think of the last thing you did before your problem occured. Just my .02.
