Problem after tune-up

I gave my car a tune-up on Saturday and today on the way to work (that's where I am right now) it started to stumble and the SES light came on. So I thought, "Let me try something". I give the car some gas just to see what it does. At WOT the car behaves normally and the SES light went off.

I am guessing one of the spark plug wires is not on all the way because I did have problems with enough room to get my hands in some places.

Oh, and the car feels like it is missing. All of the plugs are gapped properly and all of the wires are in the correct place (distributor cap/plugs).

yea,the miss could be a plug wire not on all the way,i know what u mean..i have big hands. but just a plug wire not being on all the way wouldnt cause an SES light that i know of. try using a paper clip and but it between the top right 2 terminals on ur ALDL connector and see what code u get.

I forgot to mention, after the light went off the car started to stumble again but the light did't come back on.

Can't check the car right now as I am at work.

Hook an inductive timing light on every plug wire to make sure it is seeing the same RPM at idle. If not, that wire might be broken or you might have something loose.

You are sure you replaced the wires in the right order?

Yes. I pulled the old cap, set the new one in and replaced one wire at a time, connecting both ends before moving on to the next one.

OK, are you sure you did not break a wire when you were taking it out? It can happen that it is broken and makes contact intermittenly and as such cause problems.
