Re: Power Tpi!!!!

The TPI unit is by no means up to snuff anymore but for god sakes its newest one out there is 12 years old! But for people who need to build a car and keep it resonable priced the TPI can and will make great power for dirt cheap. Check out the past fe months of Pontiac High Performance and what they have done with BLUE THUNDER. IT was orginally a 305TPI that they did all sorts of stuff to and did it on a budget and got some killer numbers out of it even without realize that the internals on their engine were bad. Yes they are now upgrading to a LT1 because they can afford to. BUT the little 305 got some killer numbers with a cheap *** budget and its all stuff you can do at home. If i rembmer completly too they even put wheels on it and kept it just around there budget. The TPI is an great OEM item. It made the L98 a thing to be reckoned with and the LB9 wasnt to far behind. If it werent for the 85 and 86 LB9 there would have never been a 87 and up L98.
