PBR rear disc?
PBR rear disc?
is there a way to extend the pbr caliper bracket so that it's possible to fit a slightly larger rotor like what's on the covettes of our years or what is offered with the baer touring system?
well if you need an explanation i suppose i will give you one.
currently i have gm performance rotors on the car with braided lines........it works great. but, i've worked out a deal where i can get the front track system with the two piston pbr caliper and 13" 2 peice aluminum rotors for a good deal. hense more stopping power and overall great looks.
i figured i would match this snazy setup with the rotors in the rear since the expensive "touring" system from baer is essentially our rear calipers with an extended bracket to fit the 12" 2 piece aluminum rotors.
now you say why would i do this? well not only is it an overall appearance upgrade, but it will upgrade the braking performance as well in little ways here and there. it will also reduce 10 lbs minimum of rotational weight off of the car. try whipping a 10 pound bowling ball around. you don't think this might help??
so..........anyone know if it's possible?
