Question Pass Key Ii......

My '91Z obviously had PASS KEY II and my '87 didn't. Am I going to be able start my car if I just lose the control module for PASS or will I end up having to swap more crap off the steering column???

to eliminate the PASS key (also known as VATS), you need to bypass the starter enable relay(easy, cross 3 wires) and delete it from the prom(in the ECM-computer)

there are other ways(resistor in wires to column, painless wiring delete box, ect.,), but this is the most complete

What if I'm not using the steering column from the '91??? Or is the starter enable relay in the fuse box?
