Painting Intake bad?

Painting Intake bad?
Is painting my lower intake going to reduce it's perfomace by not begin able to disapate heat as well?

Painting the underside with a heat resistant type of engine paint would help keep the intake cooler inside MAYBE. Depending on how much oil contacts it I think I'd paint the top too I guess.
