Borrowing one of your V8's for a conversion

I am putting a V8 in a Triumph TR7(approx. 2200 lb. car). I did this when I was 15 with a 305 TBI but this time I want much more power.

I had thought about using a 305 TPI that I had laying around and modifying but after some reading here, power is not great.

So now I'm thinking of using a 350 or 400 block and 113 Corvette heads and an LT1 intake.

I dont want to spend 2-3 grand on heads and intake so what do you guys think I can get out of a 350 or 400 with these heads and intake. I mean with the right cam, crank, pistons(up to 12:1 cr), porting of heads and manifold?

If I cant get upwards of 400hp at the crank, I'll put some turbos on it and force the air into the bitch.

Long term reliability is not an issue as it will be a weekend toy.
