I'm going to quote you anyway!

There does exist a smallblock Chevy 454 now that is based on the World Products Motown block with a 4.25 inch bore and a 4.00 inch stroke. It's Bill Mitchell's 600 horsepower, 585 ft.lb "hardcore 454", as seen here:

I as well am looking for more monstrous torque, than HP with my 305. The 305, like every other Chevy small block (BB too, for that matter) are BEASTS at making BEASTLY torque.
