Which one flows and sounds the best

Hooker Catback, Random Tech, SLP, or Flowmaster. Just curios if one outflows the other. Does any have any dyno numbers with Vortech heads on a TPI lb9 or l98?

The SLP for sure but be sure it's the one that has a duel driverside exit. It has the perfect sound and is a superior design imo. Very high quality also.

I had the Pacesetter 3" Stainless steel catback on my car for awhile. Sounded awesome. It came right off of a 95 Trans Am.
Here is a video clip of the car,

I'm guessing your refering to "two to the left" right? Does it have to be that or do you just prefer it personally? I never have liked the one exhaust tip out the back, looks kinda ricer-ish imo. I dont know.

Yes it the dual driverside exit one. No, it's not just a personal preference. This is where I believe the design is better. Almost all other systems try to divide the exhaust gas inside of the muffler. The dual drivers exit is a straight through mufler that keeps the air flowing in the same direction and creates much less turbulance and back pressure. And I truly don't think it looks like a ricer. In fact people rarely notice unless I point it out. Thats another thing I like about it. It's very unobnoxious compared to many out there.

i have the hooker cat back on my car and i think it sound great deep and not too terribly loud, and the tips look good on it as well, although if i were to get another system it would be either the slp loudmouth system, or a borla.

i have had the borla cat back which didn't flow as good as my old custom 3" with flowmaster 2 chamber but had a little nicer tone through the range.

i now have a custom 4" with a spintech and love it.

good luck.

What other exhaust system, if any, does SLP offer besides two to the left? I have the 3 " flowmaster, and it sounds good, really deep. But I dont want it that deep. I want it to sound like a Mustang. I LOVE the way Mustangs sound. Dry, raspy, and loud. I want to be as obnoxious as possible while still having a good sound. This car is not going to be my daily driver, or otherwise I would stick to the quiet exhaust.

Anyone know how to sound like a Mustang?

beyond the overall design you won't duplicate it.

I know I cant duplicate it exactly, I just want a dry, raspy sound.

Easy......buy a mustang. But seriously you cant and wont achieve a "mustang" sound. Mustangs have a different firing order than a SBC. The LS1 I believe has the same firing order, so in theory you could drop a LS1 in your car, and with a similar exhaust setup you could sound "like" a mustang. But I still think your better off buying the 'stang to achieve that sound. But I dont recomend it. Just get a nice set of headers, a good 3" catback and maybe a cutout. Thats about as good a flowing system you will see on a 3rd gen. Also if you have $$$, look into the GMMG catback. Its $700.00 but it sounds sweet. 2 chambered exhaust.......yum.
