I went to carb so I needed a fuel pressure regulator. I got the Mallory 3 port, but the thing has 5 holes in it. The bottom one is for return and one is for input from the pump one for output to the carb, but was are the other two for. I supose it set up for 2 or 3 carbs as well and Im just supposed to plug the other two.

Also a bigger problem is I cant find the fittings for it. I found the bottom one its 3/8 to 3/8 line and I guess the others are 5/16s to 3/8ths line but nobody sells them. Anybody know where I can get the peices is there an install kit I was supposed to buy for it

The 2 extra ports are for dual carbs/fuel pressure gauges/nitrous setups. Plug them and forget them.

As far as fittings.....hotrod shops sell fittings of all kinds but they also want an arm and a leg for them. Try a hardware store.

go to Summit's website and run a search on "Aeroquip." You'll find more fittings than you can possibly use.

Specifications:
* 5 outlets: 3/8 in. NPT
* Adjustment range: 3-12 psi
* This is a 3-port regulator, but has two extra ports for ease of installation based on port location

right from summitracing. you can get 3/8npt to 3/8 barbed fittings usually from a peformance store or regular parts store. moroso 65380 has 2 3/8NPT to 3/8 fuel line barb fittings. you can get brass 3/8 NPT plugs fro manywhere.

Ok Im confused. When I went to the harware stores the 3/8 screw to 3/8s line only fit the bottom hole. What about the other 4 holes they are slightly smaller than the 3/8s that went in the bottom. You didnt list any other size than 3/8s which I already tried and didnt fit

What does npt mean?

National Pipe Thread. it will fit. because the holes are on a round surface, it will be a little tricky to thread.

Dude Im tellin ya I have it right here in my hands with a 3/8ths fitting. It will go into the bottom like butter./ Ive been p[laying with it for 10 minutes and it wont go into the 4 side ports farther than a couple threads. And Im pretty sure the bottom hole is visually larger than the side ports. I think I coud force it in with a wrecnch but I dont want to strip it.

When I made that post last night I played with it for about another half hour. I got on to go in about 4-5 turns before it got hard to turn so I guess your right but I really hate to force it and possibly ruin the threads. I just dont see why it goes in the bottom one so easily and gives me such throble with the others.

4-5 threads should be plenty. doesn't need to go in all the way to the nut. just make sure you use thread tape or pipe dope.
