OK......First, I just got my car, 1986, Camaro Z28, Decent condition. Now, what should I do for the following with a really limited money supply,

Radiator leaks.....bad
"bubble rust" some "expert" said it was not worth tryin to fix, what do you guys think?

 

If the radiator leaks that bad, just replace it. I paid $15 for a used one for my DD from a local junkyard, and it had a 30 day warranty. Get new upper and lower hoses while you are at it.

Rust is hard to decide what to do with without seeing lots of pictures. A quick description would help us out.

radiator is one of those things you don't want to half-***

either find a good used one...or just pony up for a new one.

seems like i got one for $150 or less when i replaced mine. and that one had a oil cooler in it. not sure if yours does.
