Angry My friggin luck!!!! and a question!!!!

Ok here is the deal.......I just get back from cruisin' the coast in Mississippi and notice that my break in miles are at 800 miles .
So I think to myself "it is on!!!!" Romp it and it pulls like a mother all the way up to 5000 RPM!!!! I let off right there cause I fullfilled my need. Now fastforward to the next morning(this morning). Get in the car and take off at normal speed and what do you think happens next???? Well lets just say that when you pur a fresh 330 hp motor in front of a 13 year old 700r4...SOMETHING WILL GIVE!!! My tranny is slipping in third and forth......DAMN!!! so car is back in the shop getting a fresh rebuilt tranny with some tougher parts in it!!!!! MY LUCK One question....What torque converter should I go with???? Stall speed etc, etc, etc

Thanks again

I'd go with a Vigilanti converter. As for the stall speed, I don't know. I'd guess a 2400 would be good for your setup, but it really depends on what you plan to do with it. More extensive mods? Daily driver? No point in dishing out the money now, unless you plan on keeping it and not needing a larger one anytime soon. That's just my opinion.

I think I am going with the 2400 stall B@M.....They make a 350 HO deluxe which consists of the intake and a 650 cfm carb and distributor...I had to buy the vortec tpi base (399 bones) in order to use my TPI... Go with the deluxe 350 ho motor and you will not be disappointed.
