Question Which muffler for my Camaro?

Ok people.. I have heard some utterly AWESOME video's of an 80 series.. but they were all 4-gen Camaro/Firebird's. I went to flow.'s web site, and LOVE the one. But the web-site says it is for 4-gen F's. http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/cg.../mufflers.html

Which muffler would give me a loud, scary roar. I LOVE how my Camaro sounds now w/ ONLY the Cat hooked up, and want it to stay as loud and mean as possible.
Any suggestions?

BTW.. What are "cross-flow" applications?

i would go with the 80 series, that is what i'm going with, its supposed to give you a nice roar, adn for the money you can't beat the performance and sound...crossflow just means that the inlet is on a side along with an exit, and the other exit is on the other side so you have duals.

I really want an 80-series too, but I wasn't sure if it would sound ****ty on my LG4, as I relize it will sound diff. compared to an LS1 or LS6.

Are the Hooker and Dynomax loud, or what?

If you want to hear an AWESOME sound clip of a nitrous-cammed, 80-series LS1, go to LS1sounds.com and go to the Flow section.

The best LOUD design that I've heard is the Hooker Aerochamber setup. I hate loud mufflers and use a Walker QuietFlow but the Hookers are wicked sounding for sure.
