Last week my passenger side collector somehow got in contact with one of my metal fuel lines. I got the fuel line fixed but now I am wondering how this happened in the first place since the headers have been installed for years without any problems. Do you think the motor mount has worn out which has caused the header to be able to get in contact with the line?

 

Could be.

Start it up and rev it up w/ the hood open...the motor should rock side to side like crazy if its broken/worn out.

 

Raise the hood, put it in drive, then reverse, if the motor come way up, the side that comes up is shot..
