i went out today all happy and everything.
then crap hit the fan. i noticed a spuder, like a mis, but as i drove it got worse and worse. and now the thing spuders, pops, and blows smoke. it seems to get a little better at higher speeds.
any ideas or what to check for? if more info is needed ill let you all know.

Check the rockers and pushrods. My dads Chevelle did the samething. It ran like sh*t at low rpm's but better at higher rpm's. he ended up bending the intake rod and breaking in half the exhaust rocker.

check your plug wires. if you have the guiders too close to your headers it might have shorted one out. my 86 t/a did the EXACT same thing. in fact my headers burned all the way through one of the plug covers at the end of the wire. i bought new wires and it has ran like a monster since. (if you get new wires go with accel extreme 9000 they are invincible)

Sounds like its getting too much fuel. See what it does if you back off the fuel pressure.
